Meet & Greet

The Hound Heelton will require a Meet and Greet before any daycare or boarding reservation can be accepted. These must be scheduled with one of our staff and cannot be requested through the customer portal. Pets that have already boarded with The Hound Heelton are exempt, as we completed their Meet and Greet during their stay.

Deposit

A deposit totaling one night’s stay will be required for all boarding reservations. This amount will go towards your final bill when checked out at the end of your stay. If you fail to cancel within 72 hours of your scheduled reservation, you will automatically forfeit that deposit.

Vaccines

Vaccines must be up to date in our system for The Hound Heelton to accept your reservation request. We require Distemper-Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies. Vaccination records can be sent to The Hound Heelton via email, attached to your pet’s account, or emailed by your vet’s office. If your vaccines are currently up to date, but expire close to your reservation, you will be held accountable to get the new records sent over before the start of your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

We realize plans do change and wish to accommodate all of our guest’s need. We require a cancellation within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival date, failure to not cancel at least 3 days prior will result in The Hound Heelton keeping the deposit used to book the specific room. This same rule applies when changing your reservation.

Feeding Charge

If you forget your pet’s food or fail to bring it with them for the duration of their stay, and we must use our in-house food to feed, you will be charged $4/day per dog.

Destruction Charge

Our rooms are made to be durable but nothing in 100% pet proof. Therefore, if your pet destroys any part of their room during their stay, you will be responsible for paying the cost of the replacement parts.
